As part of its commitment to monitoring the status of vegetable crops in Sa’dah Governorate, the company conducted field visits that included several sites in Sahar Directorate. These visits focused specifically on the sweet pepper crop, where a team of specialized engineers inspected and evaluated the crop, identified pests and diseases affecting it, and provided the necessary guidance to farmers in the region on the best practices to combat them.

The visit showed that the sweet pepper crop in Sahar Directorate is generally in good condition.
Some pest and disease infestations were observed, such as: (Whitefly) It is one of the most common pests on sweet pepper, causing significant damage to the crop by sucking the plant’s sap and transmitting viral diseases. (Aphids): They are small insects that live on the surface of plants and suck their sap, which leads to their weakness and yellowing of their leaves.
The team of engineers provided the necessary guidance to farmers in the region on the best practices for pest and disease control, including:
Using appropriate pesticides.
Following good agricultural practices, such as crop rotation and weed control. Strengthening the immunity of plants by using organic fertilizers and appropriate irrigation.
